Queensferry Road: Two women taken to hospital after crash on Edinburgh road

Two women were taken to hospital on Monday after being involved in a crash on Queensferry road in Edinburgh.

Police Scotland was called to the scene at around 10.05am and several diversions were put in place while the road was closed.

It reopened at around 12.15pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received reports of a two-car crash on Queensferry Road in Edinburgh around 10.05am on Monday, 8 November, 2021.

"Two women were taken to hospital for treatment.

"The road was reopened around 12.15pm.”
