EtiKet Pres. Jacksonville

After a couple of years DJing for other club nights, deep house perfectionist Laurence Nolan launches his own club, EtiKet, tomorrow night. His fellow residents Chris Graham, Dane Rane, Fraser Henderson and Jack Stanley are Edinburgh’s new house crew. Headline DJ Jacksonville has recorded on 2020 Vision & Leftroom records and specialises in deep hypnotic house. The perfect guest to promote exceptional musical Etiquette.

The Annexe, Cowgate, tomorrow, 10.30pm–3am, £6

Weekly club night spread over three rooms, decorated in post-modern design with cool lighting installations to make this subterranean club space one of the best. Stu Todd (Karnival) heads up the main room with a fierce selection of big room house and electro.

Victor Q (Electikal) champions room two with a killer mash-up of UK garage, breaks and bass. While Fraser Henderson takes the more chilled route, a journey through funky disco and lo-slung house in the futuristic bar, upstairs.

Cabaret Voltaire, Blair Street, tomorrow, 10.30pm–3am, £7

BIXON Pres. Jaunt

Bixon promoters Richard Rowell and Tom Rankin choose venues with cosy capacities of no more than a few hundred a time. They’ve kept their club night low-key, and it’s the secret to four successful years jumping between London and Edinburgh. That’s why DJs Blackhall and Bookless are here to give a taste of Vitalik. Expect face-shatteringly wild electro fused with acid electronica.

The Third Door, Lothian Street, Saturday, 11pm–3am, £6

CRAFT Boat Party Ft. Jon Mancini

Colours DJ Jon Mancini has been blowing crowds away since 1988 in every club from London to Ibiza.

He is also integral to the history of Scottish clubbing. On Saturday, Dazzimac and Ryan Wallace have him headlining their Craft Boat Party.

Enjoy a trip down the Forth, taking in the Edinburgh shoreline for an energetic mix of tech house and progressive and banging house.
