Police appeal to find missing 14-year-old Sadie Thomson

POLICE say concern is growing for a teenager who has been missing from her Edinburgh home for more than two days.

Sadie Thomson was last seen in North Street, Ratho, at around 10am on Friday.

Since then, the 14-year-old has not been in contact with friends or family.

She is described as being around 5ft 2in with long hair, which is blonde with brown streaks. She has blue eyes.

Sadie is thought to be wearing a burgundy hooded top, white jeans and is carrying a black and white chequered “VANS” backpack.

Sergeant Neil Thomson of Wester Hailes police station said: “We are considering Sadie to be vulnerable because of her age.

“We are asking anyone who has any information that can help us to trace her to please get in touch.

“Similarly if Sadie herself sees this appeal, we would ask her to get in touch with us or her family.”
