VANDALS have carried out a string of attacks on a public toilet and caused more than £1000 of damage.

The toilet at the Mill Centre in Ash Grove in Blackburn, West Lothian, has been vandalised six times in the past month.

Papers have been lit and thrown inside, the disabled handles have been damaged, and in the most recent incident, the LED display where coins are inserted was smashed.

Police Sergeant Steven Stewart said: “We are appealing for help in tracing those responsible for these acts of vandalism.”
