Police appeal to trace missing South Queensferry man

Police are appealing for information in order to trace a man missing from South Queensferry.

Colin Hamilton, 36, was last seen at his home address at around midday on Wednesday, 17 October.

He has not been seen since and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Colin is described as a white male, 5ft 9, slim build, shaved mousy brown hair, scar at base of skull and another to the right of his forehead, tattoo on his right chest, last seen wearing grey hooded top and blue jeans.

Inspector Scott Kennedy, Corstorphine Police Station said: “Colin has not been seen since 12pm on 17th October and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Colin, or recognises his description, to contact police at their earliest convenience.

“Likewise I would ask Colin, if he does see this message, to get in touch to let us know he is ok”

Anyone with information regarding Colin’s whereabouts is asked to contact officers on 101, quoting incident number 2418 of October 17th.
