Police begin hunt for bus stop flasher

Have your say

A FLASHER who exposed himself to a woman as she waited for a bus was today being hunted by police.

The 23-year-old woman was waiting at the bus stop on Edinburgh Road in Penicuik, near to a wooded area backing on to Trelawney Terrace, when she noticed a man in the woods.

The man exposed himself before the woman returned home and reported the matter to police following the incident at 9.35am yesterday.

Police believe it may be the same flasher who exposed himself to a 44-year-old woman walking her dog in woods opposite Glencorse Barracks in Penicuik last month.

The suspect is described as white but with a suntan, 5ft 8in tall with a medium build, short dark gelled back hair and a clean-shaven face.

He was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, white knee-length shorts and aviator sunglasses.
