Police launch re-appeal for missing 26 year old Edinburgh man Lukasz Machalski amid growing concerns from family

Police in Edinburgh are continuing to appeal for information on the whereabouts of 26 year-old Lukasz Machalski whose family are ‘very concerned’ about his ‘extremely out of character’ disappearance from his home in Restalrig over two weeks ago.

Lukasz Machalski, 26, was last seen in the West Pilton Drive area around 10.40pm on Sunday December 13.

Lukas is described as 5th 10ins tall, with fair blonde hair often shaved.

He was last seen wearing a grey jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and gold and black Nike trainers.

Inspector Grant McCulloch of Craigmillar Police Station said: “It is extremely out of character for him to be out of contact with his family for any length of time, especially over Christmas.

"His family are very concerned and just want to know that he is safe and well.”

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Lukasz, or knows of his whereabouts, to come forward and are also appealling directly to Lukasz to please get in touch with someone.
