POLICE are investigating after two cars were set on fire in a West Lothian village.

The vehicles were targeted just after midnight on Friday, November 27, in Bowyett, Torphicen.

No-one was injured, but police are keen to track the culprits.

Detective Constable Lee McCall of Livingston CID said: “We’re still working to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident but, thankfully, no-one was injured and the fire was quickly brought under control by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

“We’re asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone with information relevant to the investigation, to contact police immediately.”
