POLICE have arrested two men and seized drugs worth £20,000 after a raid in the Capital.
Officers carried out an intelligence-led search of an address in Cleekim Drive, Niddrie, on Wednesday and seized a number of cannabis plants as well as 84 grammes of heroin and around 350 grammes of a white powder, believed to be Methadrone .
Two men have been arrested and charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act in connection with the raid.
The men, aged 55 and 22, are scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later today.
Detective Inspector Stuart Harkness said: “Police Scotland continues to engage with the public across Edinburgh and obtain vital information relating to ongoing drug crime.
“Whenever intelligence is received, we will respond accordingly to ensure harmful drugs cannot make their way into our communities.
