Police team on the run

A POLICE team is set to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon with the aim of raising more than £2000 for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

The team from the Safer Neighbourhoods Team at the St Leonard’s station will take part in the half marathon event.

Pc Lynsey Collins is also set to run in the London Marathon on Sunday.

She said: “We really enjoyed taking part last year and even more people have put themselves forward to do it this year.”
