Scottish independence: Senior lawyers to examine legal implications

ADVOCATE General Lord Wallace was today hosting a meeting in Edinburgh of senior lawyers to examine the legal implications of independence and what it would mean for Scotland’s membership of the EU.

The legal forum was established to provide independent expert advice to the UK Government.

Lord Wallace said: “The legal implications of independence continue to be the source of much debate in Scotland.”
