Proclaimer’s Gonna Be on Capital run

ONE half of the Proclaimers is to take part in a charity run in Edinburgh to raise money for cancer research.

Charlie Reid, who is a patron of the St Andrews-based Association for International Cancer Research, will participate in the Bupa Great Edinburgh Run on October 2.

The Leith-born musician is writing the band’s ninth album along with brother Craig.
