£450k boost for ex-school

AN old school building in Mid Calder has been secured with a £450,000 redevelopment.

Work on the project will start at the beginning of November and is expected to be completed early next year.

The building, which was Mid Calder School in Victorian times and more recently a community centre, will be transformed into a community hub for sport and recreation and will include two changing rooms and referee changing facilities.
