£5m restored venue opens

LINLITHGOW Burgh Halls has officially reopened following a £5.2 million restoration.

The landmark grade A-listed building at the heart of Linlithgow boasts an art gallery, education and tourist information centre, glasshouse café, two function rooms and a roof terrace for weddings and other events.

Officially opening the Burgh Halls, Provost Tom Kerr, said: “I’m delighted to see such an important venue restored in a way that maintains the historic exterior, whilst adding modern facilities inside.”
