£60k upgrade for miners’ club

a WEST Lothian miners’ club is to be upgraded with help from a £60,000 grant from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust.

Loganlea Miners Welfare, Addiewell, will refurbish its kitchen to cater for functions and to set up a training kitchen, run by a catering manager who will teach local young people hospitality industry skills.

Lothians Labour MSP Neil Findlay said: “The track record of the club is second to none; long may their great work continue.”
