The Midlothian charities have received the money from the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland.
Mayfield and Easthouses Youth 2000 has been awarded £4000, while £2500 has gone to the Bill Russell Woodburn Youth Project and £535 to Bonnyrigg and Lasswade Seniors Forum.
This is the fourth award to Mayfield and Easthouses Youth 2000 since 2003.
