PUPILS get to grips with iPads after a pilot scheme using the tablet computers at schools was launched.
Education Secretary Mike Russell visited Sciennes Primary yesterday, where he announced a new study into how the gadgets could be used to enhance lessons.
Ten local authorities across Scotland, almost 20 schools and hundreds of pupils are already using a range of devices.
Mr Russell said: “I want Scottish school pupils to be both connected and collaborative.
“I have asked Education Scotland for recommendations on how we can realise the benefits of mobile technology for all learners in Scotland, including ensuring how we get the best possible value for our schools.”
