Pupils get in touch with latest gadgets

PUPILS get to grips with iPads after a pilot scheme using the tablet computers at schools was launched.

Education Secretary Mike Russell visited Sciennes Primary yesterday, where he announced a new study into how the gadgets could be used to enhance lessons.

Ten local authorities across Scotland, almost 20 schools and hundreds of pupils are already using a range of devices.
