Pupils show Games spirit

PUPILS and teachers at Broxburn Academy have been officially welcomed into London 2012’s Get Set network.

Broxburn Academy’s STEM Challenge team was named winner of the UK STEM Challenge 9 for its project to use human endeavour to create a spark to light a flame for the London 2012 Paralympics.

STEM Challenges are to encourage young people to use science, technology, engineering and maths to prepare for the Olympics and Paralympics.
