Quartermile firm in loss
The company that owns the site of the former Edinburgh Royal Infirmary has recorded a loss in its latest accounts.
Accounts for 2010 show that Gladedale Capital, which owns the Quartermile site, suffered a £389,000 pre-tax loss, compared with a £1.55 million profit the previous year.
Gladedale director Neil Fitzsimmons said: “The company continues to benefit from new committed bank term loan and working capital facilities made available by our principal lender.”
