THE Royal Mail is hoping to recruit an extra 780 staff in the Capital to help cope with the Christmas post.

The company have launched a recruitment drive to find an estimated 18,000 temporary seasonal staff across the UK for the festive season.

They will be working in mail and distribution centres, helping to sort Christmas cards and packets before they go to around 1400 delivery offices for postmen and women to take out on their rounds.
