Run along to Snow Patrol album play

POP band Snow Patrol are giving fans in the Capital the chance to listen to their new album before it is released.

The very first public playback of the 14-track album will take place at Malmaison Edinburgh on Monday.

Fallen Empires, which will be released on November 14, is the band’s sixth studio album.

Recorded in Los Angeles, Fallen Empires features the hit Called Out In The Dark and new single, This Isn’t Everything You Are.

A series of playbacks will take place in Malmaison hotel bars across Northern Ireland and Scotland.

They will be the first plays of the album anywhere, with the Edinburgh event taking place a fortnight before the album’s release.

Fans attending will receive a free album poster and be entered into a competition to win two tickets for the upcoming arena tour in February.

The Edinburgh event will run from 6pm to 8pm.

The band will not be attending any of the playback events.
