Samba band on the move

MEMBERS of Scotland’s largest youth Samba band have been hand-picked to receive a tour of the Olympic Stadium.

Jordan Ferguson, 14, Joanne Simpson 15, and Sarah Seilman, 21 – members of Pulse of the Place – travelled to London with Rohan Seilman of Duncan Place Resource Centre, where the band meets.

The band’s new project, Move to the Pulse, obtained an Inspire kitemark through London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
