IT’s beginning to look a mutt like Christmas . . .
’Tis the season to be jolly, even if you have four legs rather than two. It seems pets across Edinburgh and the Lothians have been getting into the Christmas spirit – some more willingly than others – by dressing in a range of festive garb.
From elaborate Santa and elf outfits to a bit of tinsel which just won’t stay on the collar, Christmas 2014 may well be remembered as the year pet pampering was taken to new levels.
Our social media appeal for the seasonal snaps saw us inundated with Santa hat-wearing dogs, Chrimbo cats, and even the odd rodent reindeer.
Barking mad or fantastic festive fun? You decide.
We reckon pets are part of the family and have every right to join in the fun of Christmas.
Well done to all the animals pictured here – we hope Santa is good to you this year!
