School team in charity run

A GROUP of 20 teachers and classroom assistants from a city high school are more than halfway towards meeting their fundraising target following a charity run.

The team from Craigmount High School took part in the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday to raise funds for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

Team members ran in the full and half marathons and the 8km event. They hope to raise a total of £5000 and have so far raised £2635.
