Score from a music box

A project which aims to give youngsters the opportunity to make their own music has been launched by Hearts.

The football club, in conjunction with the Scottish Premier League Trust and Creative Scotland, says Music Box will give young people aged 12-18 the opportunity to learn about the music industry, make recordings, take part in performance events and try out a variety of different instruments.

Andrew Dixon, chief executive officer at Creative Scotland, said: “Music Box will build on young people’s love of both music and football, bringing them along to their favourite club to try making music in a fun and relaxed environment.”
