Scottish Life boss on run

A TOP boss at Scottish Life is set to pound the pavements at the London Marathon in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK.

John Deane, chief executive of the Capital-based retirement specialists, hopes to raise thousands of pounds for the dementia charity when he and 35,000 other runners tackle the 26-mile course next Sunday.

The 53-year-old said: “I love a challenge and when I get time I enjoy running, cycling and golf. Taking part in the London Marathon gives me the ideal opportunity to raise much needed money for research.”
