Scrum on down for 9am pint

Kicking off things early for the Rugby World Cup is the Three Sisters.

As of today, the Grassmarket hostelry will to serve breakfast to sports fans from 7am each morning. The pub will show all the matches as the action gets under way 12 hours ahead in New Zealand – with pints served from 9am each day.

General manager Donal Hurrell said: “The Three Sisters is a great place to watch the rugby and I think there’s going to be a really different atmosphere with people watching the match and having their breakfast and a coffee.”
