A woman has gone missing in Livingston, sparking a police search.

Officers in the West Lothian are appealing for information to help trace Donna Wood, aged 31, who was last seen at around 7.25pm on March 7 outside St John’s Hospital.

Since then, there have been no sightings of Donna, nor has she been in contact with family or friends.

Concern is now growing for her welfare and anyone with information that may assist police with their inquiries is asked to come forward as soon as possible.

She is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build and with dyed blonde hair, possibly tied back in a ponytail.

She is believed to be wearing a light, pink-satin bomber jacket and blue jeans.

Inspector Myles Marshall from Livingston Police Station said: “Donna has now been missing since late yesterday evening without being seen or heard from and our enquiries to date have not yet established her whereabouts.

“I’m asking anyone with information to Donna’s whereabouts or that can assist in locating her to contact police immediately.

“We would also urge Donna to make contact with ourselves, or with her family and friends, and confirm she is safe.”

Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101.
