Shoppers to raise money

STAFF and shoppers at Asda Chesser will be helping to raise funds for breast cancer with a big activity day on Friday.

The store will be turned into a sea of pink and even the green Asda sign will be covered up.

Staff will be wearing pink and store general manager Martin Kelly will launch the day-long event at 10am by releasing 1000 pink balloons.

A number of health advisers will also be at the store throughout the day, with breast cancer charities offering screening to customers, while there will also be tombolas, raffles, cake sales and even leg waxing.
