A SPECIALLY-written pantomime called Snow White and the Seven Leithers is to go ahead in the city.

The Leith Community Theatre show, written by resident Tony Delicata, will be at South Leith Parish Halls from December 19 to 23, and features magic mirrors, court jesters, evil queens and a dashing prince.

Chairman Des Linton said: “Leith Community Theatre has enjoyed massive support from so many local people, businesses’ and institutions but as a voluntary organisation, we are always on the look out for fresh ideas.”
