A BRITISH Sign Language taster session is being held in Edinburgh as part of Learn to Sign week.

The event will be held at Deaf Action, Albany Street, on Monday, October 3 from 10am and will provide the basics of BSL – greeting signs, the fingerspelling alphabet and how to sign your name – a look at deaf culture, communication tactics and an outline of the different kinds of deafness.
