Snapper home from Palestine

A PHOTOGRAPHER has returned from a trip to a Palestinian village where he ran a camera workshop for children.

Juniper Green photographer, Phil Chetwynd, travelled to the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh to help youngsters develop their photography skills.

And Mr Chetwynd said he hoped to stage an exhibition in Edinburgh featuring the images captured by the children.

Mr Chetwynd said: “Eleven children took part in the sessions. My Arabic is non-existent, so I recruited the help of a young Palestinian, Ahmad, whom I met via the website Flickr.”
