Snow DVD is white stuff

A DVD is to be launched to encourage school pupils to make greater use of Midlothian Snowsports Centre.

The video is part of a campaign to support children from the area using the Hillend centre through the SportScotland Active Schools programme.

It features pupils from Glencorse Primary in Penicuik on a visit, as well as British junior snowboarding team member Valia Chapman, 14, from Bonnyrigg, who shows pupils some of the “big air” tricks that they could advance to on the jump slope.
