Solicitor firm in takeover

A SOLICITOR firm has announced a takeover of a smaller rival in Edinburgh.

Morisons Solicitors has taken over the business of Macrae Flett & Rennie, headed up by solicitor David Court.

The company, which was established 130 years ago, will become part of Morisons’ Edinburgh operation.

Robin Valentine, partner at Morisons’ Edinburgh office, said: “We are delighted that David and his team have agreed to join us.”
