A SON snuck into his mother’s house and stole her money to buy drugs, a court has heard.
Jamie Paterson, 31, used a key he had taken from the house earlier.
He appeared for sentence at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday after earlier pleading guilty to opening premises using a key he obtained dishonestly.
He admitted stealing £135 from his mother’s home in Livingston, West Lothian, between September 13 and 25 last year.
Sheriff Douglas Kinloch said a year’s social work supervision would help Paterson deal with his problems.
