A STALKER made his ex-partner’s life hell by bombarding her and her family with unwanted phone calls and text messages.

The final straw for Bryan Frizzell, from East Calder, came when he was caught on CCTV creeping around her garden holding the family’s pet cat.

The woman – who can’t be identified for legal reasons – called police, Livingston Sheriff Court heard.

Frizzell, 41, was yesterday banned from contacting the mum and her daughter for two years.

He had earlier pleaded guilty to breach of the peace and causing his ex-partner fear and alarm.

He was also fined £320 and put under social work supervision for a year.
