Stranger Things pop-up bar coming to Edinburgh

The people behind a popular Game of Thrones inspired bar have announced plans to open a Stranger Things pop-up bar in Edinburgh.

Promising cocktails, nostalgia, ice cream and 80s-inspired fashion, the Edinburgh Fringe bar will be named ‘The Upside Down’.

The Pop Up Geeks, who are running a Game of Thrones themed bar night throughout August, teased their new venture on their Facebook page.

Stranger Things is an award-winning Netflix thrilled starring Winona Ryder and set in a small Indiana town in 1983.

The Pop Up Geeks posted a picture of a video tape promising “drinks inspired by Stranger Things,” they said: “Something strange is coming to Edinburgh , eyes peeled tomorrow for updates!”
