Sustainable bakery takes biscuit at M&S

M&S is introducing a new range of fabulous biscuits this Christmas which are sustainably made by a family-run bakery on Mull. The bakery generates its own electricity, and uses a wood-fired oven that burns waste timber. Crumbly Chocolate Shortbread (£2.49, 150g) is rolled in toasted chopped hazelnuts for a delicious crunch; Oatmeal Shortbread is rolled in Demerara Sugar and packed with oats, (£2.49, 150g); and Crunchy Dark Chocolate Dipped Gingers (£2.49, 150g) are hand- finished with stem ginger.
