AS a pregnant woman I was rushed to hospital on December 1 because of reduced movements and was taken care by the staff in ward 119.
Everyone was so caring, polite and made me feel comfortable. The Simpsons is a very clean and lovely place to have a baby. Actually it’s the best place.
I had my baby on December 6 and his name is Francesco and he is the best Christmas present I could ask for.
I’m a single mum and I was helped lots in hospital; clothes were given to my son from the staff; I was helped by a breast feeding team and trained by midwives on how to do the essential things for the baby.
I was also given great food and I can only say thank you to all the staff at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for making my dream come true.
I am a mamma finally at 39 years old to a healthy and very smiley baby. So thank you again for everything and may you all have a great Christmas.
