Take chance with dance

A MASSIVE dance event is to take place in the Capital with the aim of promoting the activity as a form of exercise.

The Extravadanza will go ahead later this month at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange and features almost every genre, from hip hop and disco to salsa and tango.

As well as highlighting the fitness and wellbeing aspects of dance, the spectacle will raise funds for the charity Breast Cancer Care.

Organiser Alison Demarco said: “The core ethos of the Extravadanza is to promote health, fitness and wellbeing through dance and exercise routines that are simple to follow and fun to do for all ages and all fitness levels.”
