Team vision of iconic site

ONE of the world’s most iconic buildings is to be digitally recorded for future generations by a team from Scotland.

Sydney Opera House will be scanned as part of the Scottish Ten project – a partnership of Historic Scotland, Glasgow School of Art and digital heritage organisation CyArk – which is using 3D technology to digitally record all five of Scotland’s world heritage sites and five international sites. The project will support maintenance and conservation programmes.
