Teen guilty of partner attack

A TEENAGER sent threatening Facebook messages to his girlfriend after forcing his way into her home and attacking her.

Joshua Grieve-Cantlon threatened to kill Sharon Duffy, Livingston Sheriff Court was told yesterday. The 19-year-old also kicked his way through the door of Ms Duffy’s home in Livingston and repeatedly punched and kicked her.

A jury earlier found Grieve-Cantlon, of Broxburn, West Lothian, guilty of breach of the peace, vandalism, assault and sending threatening messages. He was sentenced to 14 months and two weeks’ detention.
