A TEENAGER raped two under-age girls in separate attacks carried out within two months of each.
The sex attacker ignored one 14-year-old girl when she told him ‘no’ and held her down during an assault at a house.
The 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, ignored his victim when she told him to stop in March 2014.
In May last year he carried out a further rape on another 14-year-old. He ignored her when she told him to stop and told him no and ordered her not to speak.
Both the rapes were committed at addresses in Midlothian.
The teenager had denied the rape charges and a string of other offences during a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh but was found guilty of both rapes and a further assault on a 13-year-old girl he asked for sex. A jury acquitted him of seven further charges.
He was placed on the sex offenders’ register and sentence was deferred until next month.
