AN innovative group of teenagers have helped transform a city park thanks to a creative initiative.

The 14 youngsters took on a number of challenges to improve the environment at King George V Park in Gracemount.

Among other projects, railway sleepers were transformed to make a boundary to the park.

The aim of the event was to encourage young people to make a positive impact in their local community.

It is hoped the campaign will also help develop artistic skills.
