Have your say

THIEVES have broken into a West Lothian convenience store and tried to raid the ATM of cash before running away.

The incident happened yesterday at around 12.55am at the Scotmid in Redcraig Road, East Calder. Two men broke in, but they were unable to access cash and fled empty handed.

Detectives are keen to trace the driver of a white Mercedes van seen travelling west along the B7105 towards Mid Calder shortly after the incident.

The suspects are described as white, between 20 and 30 and wearing dark clothing with hoods and a scarf on their faces.
