THREE people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The collision happened around 2.15am on the A899 road near the Lizzie Brice roundabout in Livingston.

The Scotttish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said its crews attended the scene, along with the police and ambulance service.

An SFRS spokesman said two men were taken to the nearby St John’s Hospital with minor injuries while a woman was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with suspected spinal injuries.

One of the men was cut free from the wreckage by fire crews.
