Tools and Ford van stolen from business in Seafield

Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses after tools and a white Ford Transit Tipper were stolen from a business in Seafield Rows

The incident happened between 5.30pm on Monday 27th and 7.20am on Tuesday 28th August at the Richie Bros Ltd premises in Seafield Rows.

After entry was forced to the site a number of tools and white Ford Transit Tipper vehicle, with registration number YP66 GWG, were stolen.

Inquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible and anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Detective Constable Tony Gilhooley from Livingston CID said: “We are currently pursuing various lines of local inquiry to trace the stolen vehicle and tools, and identify the culprits.

“If you have seen the Ford Transit Tipper since Tuesday 28th August, or have any information relevant to this investigation, then please contact police immediately.

“Similarly, if you remember seeing any suspicious activity around the premises then please also get in touch.”

Those with information can contact Livingston CID via 101and quote incident 525 of the 28th August. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be made to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
