Corstorphine High Street closed after man hit by vehicle outside primary school
Police enquiries are ongoing.
Corstorphine High Street remains closed after a man was hit by a vehicle earlier today outside the local primary school.
The incident occurred around 5pm at the junction between Corstorphine High Street and Ladywell Avenue.
Corstorphine High Street was immediately closed between Manse Road and Ladywell Avenue while emergency services attended the scene.
The road is closed until further notice and an ambulance remains on the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The incident occurred around 4.55pm. Police received report of a man struck by a vehicle.
"The man was taken to hospital and the road was closed at the junction with Ladywell Avenue.
"Police enquiries are still ongoing."
