Female pedestrian taken to hospital after being hit by car
A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on Crewe Road South.

The incident, which happened at around 11.20am, saw police close off the road for around half an hour.
It is understood the woman has now been taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Her condition is described as “stable”.
